HAPPINESS SURROUNDS AND MORE...

Happy Saturday everyone!  I don't know about you all, but here in central Kentucky winter has arrived!!  We skipped right past Fall!! 

When it's cold like this, it's not fun heading up to the barn to feed the sheepies.  Burr!!  

But, on a good note.  I spent a whole lot of time in my craft room today.  YaY!!  

When I was on the front porch putting on my boots to get ready to head to the barn I noticed my welcome mat.  I just love the colors, designs and flowers that's in it.  I thought to myself, I bet I could make a card that looked like that.  So, that's what I did.  

Here is my inspiration.

I started digging through my stamp sets and pulled out ink pads and markers and got started.  Boy did I use a lot of stamp sets.  But the main one I wanted to use on my card was the new Happiness Surrounds stamp set.  It's part of the exclusive products in the Snowflake Showcase that's available Nov 1st thru the 30th, or while supplies last.  This suite of products is not just for holiday cards.

I wanted this card to be extra special because I was giving it to a dear friend that did such a sweet act of kindness for me. I think she will like it.
