STAMPIN' UP!'S SNOW IS GLISTENING

Hi everyone!  Happy Wednesday.  I was trying to get this post up on Tuesday, election day, but no luck. But, I hope everyone got out and voted!!

So today I have a beautiful Christmas card using the Snow Is Glistening stamp set from the awesome Snowflake Showcase of exclusive products from Stampin' Up!  Remember, this is a limited time suite - it's only around until the goodies sell out or November 30th, whichever occurs first.

Take a look-see~

I started with a card base of Crumb Cake card stock that I embossed the front with the Swirls & Curls Textured Embossing Folder.  I then took the Crumb Cake layer and stamped the Christmas tree and snowflake images in Versamark ink and applied White Stampin' Emboss Powder and melted it with my Heat Tool.

With a Sponge Dauber I applied Crumb Cake ink to the tree image and wiped off the excess with a paper towel.  Don't forget to stamp the tree base image with Early Espresso ink.  I adhered the Crumb Cake layer to the Early Espresso layer and attached it to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped the sentiment with Early Espresso ink on a Crumb Cake card stock scrap and punched out with the 1-1/4" Circle Punch.  Then I punched out another circle using the 1-1/2" Circle Punch with Early Espresso card stock and adhered those two pieces together and popped it on the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals.

At the top of this beautiful tree I attached a Snowflake Trinket using a Mini Glue Dot.  Notice the cool looking Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets randomly placed on the snowflakes of the embossed tree!!

No card is complete without taking care of the inside. I finished off by stamping another sentiment from the stamp set in Early Espresso on a piece of Very Vanilla card stock along with snowflakes in Crumb Cake ink.  I layered the Very Vanilla card stock on a Early Espresso mat.

There you go!  A quick and easy Christmas card that you can easily replicate.

Since yesterday was election day, my granddaughter was out of school and she spent the day with me.  We hung out in my craft room, something that she loves doing!!  We created a video of how to make this card.  We really enjoyed making the video!!  I hope you like it too.  Just click on the pic below to start watching it.
