Stampin on the Farm: DASHING DEER CHRISTMAS CARD

Happy Sunday! I sure hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I sure did, and of course I ate way too much.

I had fun making this card using Dashing Deer stamp set and the Detailed Deer thinlits.

This cute card features some of the products from one of my favorite bundles in the 2018 Holiday catalog, Farmhouse Christmas. I used Festive Farmhouse DSP, Striped Burlap Trim and Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine in Cherry Cobbler. The top layer of DSP measures 3-1/2" x 4-3/4". I turned it on the long side and cut it at 1-1/2" then flipped it over. Both sides of the DSP coordinates. Win!!

I used the Banner Triple Punch for the sentiment. Make sure to check out the video to see how I made the ends line up.

The party continued on the inside~~

I just love decorating the envelope. I adhered a piece of the DSP to the flap, and oh how pretty!!

Card measurements used in this project:

Mossy Meadow - 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" - card base; scrap for sentiment at lease 1" wide

Cherry Cobbler - 3-3/4" x 5"

Festive Farmhouse DSP - 3-1/2" x 4-3/4" for top layer; 1" x 5-1/4" for inside layer; 2-1/2" x 6" for envelope flap

Whisper White - 4" x 5-1/4" for inside; scrap for sentiment at least 3/4" wide and a piece to stamp deer
